A new beginning for a Grand Show!
                                      

The American Burlesque Troupe opens with a great cast.

Ms. Shari Wilson, the very funny and delightful, multi-talented singer, comic, and impressionist, Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year, The American Burlesque Troupe's Mistress of Ceremony, opened the first show, since 2006 to a very enthusiastic crowd.  The card was filled with some great acts.

The singers were amazing.  Outstanding performances by Vaughn Suponatime, Juliette, Sy Shaaheed, and Fernando Moreno swooned the audience. 

The audience laughed uproariously to the comedy, which was highlighted by very funny performances by master ventriloquist, Rick Mitchell, the clown strip tease act of RaRa Sis Bomba, and the comedy stylings of Michael Sherman and Craig Pollack.  

The evening was treated to some of the greatest dancing that has come to a burlesque stage ever, with the sexy Darla Lush, singing and dancing with her fans, the great Miss Johnny Friday, performing her alluring, but classy strip tease, Yasmine Vine in her rendition of "I'm a good Girl".

But the unexpected highlight of the Evening was "The Dance of the Seven Veils", performed as Princess Scheherazade by none other than International Singing sensation and World Famous Belly Dancer, Purple Lilac. It was an act that brought down the house and brought the fans to their feet in a standing ovation. The show was directed by Mr. Emperor Von Seidl. It was Produced by Ms. Teresa Brown and Mr. Emperor Von Seidl.  The Company performed at the C.A.P. Theater in Sherman Oaks, California.

Amburlesk, is the smaller unit, consisting of five to seven acts, per show, from the American Burlesque Troupe .  Amburlesk actually is three units, Amburlesk (Purple Unit), Amburlesk (Red Unit), and Amburlesk (Green Unit). This allows Amburlesk to perform in multiple venues at the same time.  

The American Burlesque Troupe will continue to perform its traditional Black Tie Burlesque Revue, but Amburlesk is free to develop new ideas and acts, hold auditions "under Fire" for new performers before a live, paying audience, and experiment in the avant garde.
